OLTART – Cultural Magazine ISSN 2285-598X, Romania

OLTART is a Romanian cultural print magazine — now in its 54th issueconceived as a meeting ground for philosophical thought, literary work, artistic imagination, and intellectual inquiry. Rooted in national heritage and the broader humanistic tradition, and published with the support of the Biblioteca Județeană Olt "Ion Minulescu" and the Consiliul Județean Olt, the magazine carries a distinct orientation toward phenomenological and hermeneutical expression.


Founded in 2012 by the Romanian scholar and professor Constantin Voinescu, the publication has since become a sustained interrogation into symbolism of identity and memory. Each issue brings together long-form essays, academic and research studies, interviews, art criticism, original literary work, poetry, book reviews, and investigations into folklore.


Much of the magazine's coherence is owed to its editorial team. Oana Glasu, as chief editorial secretary, tends to the clarity and precision of the written word. Together with the editorial board — Paul Aretzu, Aurelian Titu Dumitrescu, Felicia Filip, Dorin Popescu, Florian Dumitrescu, Mihaela Stana, and Victor Tita — the publication pursues a threefold purpose: recovering figures lost to historical neglect, welcoming new scholarly voices, and attending to the deeper currents universal intellectual landscape.
