Heinrich Hollpein - Austrian painter and author (1814-1888) is a 19th Century artist. Hollpein's work has been offered at auction multiple times. Among the artist's sold works is "Devotions", which realized 13,448 USD at Dorotheum, Vienna in 2014.

Heinrich Hollpein was the son of the engraver Leopold Hollpein. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna where he exhibited his portraits between 1834 and 1836. In 1842 he traveled to Russia and portrayed aristocrats and artists. In 1851 he went to Rome where he became president of the local association of German artists 1853. That same year he traveled from Naples to Munich.
